Nintendo’s market value rose after China reverses console ban

Recent news has come that China has reverse it’s government law on the ban gaming consoles that came in effect in 2000 for the protecting of the youth from corrupting influences.

This recent course of events have given Nintendo’s market value to rise up alongside the massive sales of the Nintendo 3DS according to Metro. Nintendo’s market value is much higher then Sony’s thanks to these two contributing factors. Nintendo’s market capitalisation stands in a firm $18.4 billion. While Sony’s gaming division have been doing extremely well thanks to the PlayStation 4, it’s Sony’s other divisions like movies, music, and laptop that have been the cause of it’s market value being low compared to Nintendo’s.
