Persona 5 and three Persona spin-off games are getting localized

For Persona fans in the US, Atlus USA confirms that Persona 5 and spin-offs of the acclaimed series will be localized for a release this year and beyond on consoles and handhelds.

“The Persona series is one of the most progressive, mature role playing game franchises in the world, and a cornerstone of what makes ATLUS a great video game company”, said Naoto Hiraoka, president and CEO, Index Digital Media, Inc. “The latest ventures into the worlds of Persona 3 and 4 give new perspective and depth to some of gaming’s most incredible characters, and the new games have a wide enough breadth to be enthralling for newcomers to the series.”

The latest entry of the main Persona series, Persona 5 is set to release in 2015 in North America exclusively for the PlayStation 3.

A sequel to the super-heated fighter from 2012, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will improve on the original’s formula with battle-altering 1-hit special attacks and new characters from Persona 3 to one brand new character. Persona 4 Arena Ultimax is set to release in fall 2014 in North America for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.

This rhythm-based action game develop in collaboration with Dingo Inc will have fans dancing with their favorite Persona 4 characters in 30 pulse-thumping tracks. Persona 4: Dancing All Night will release in 2015 exclusively for the PlayStation Vita.

Characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4 will navigate their way out of the labyrinth in two different plotlines that includes two new characters, Rei and Zen in this RPG dungeon crawl. Persona Q: Shadow of the Labyrinth will release exclusively for the Nintendo 3DS in fall 2014 for North America.
