A new Nintendo Direct video has been revealed for the first of October detailing updates for the Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and showing off some new stuff along the way.

Super Mario 3D World will contain a ton of fresh power-ups, like cherries allowing players to duplicate Mario and the gang, in addition to the all new Cat power up. Release date for Super Mario 3D World will be on November 22 this year only on the Wii U.

Mario and Luigi Wii Remote Plus coming on November 1 for $39.99 each.

Wii Party U will offer something for everyone to play. House Party mode places the focus on the Wii U’s GamePad and couples its use with the Wii Remotes in unique, engaging and social ways. In Water Runners, for example, players scoop water from a stream displayed on the GamePad and must skillfully carry the water to a pitcher displayed on the TV. Wii Party U will launch on October 25 this year only on the Wii U. The physical copy of Wii Party U includes a Wii Remote Plus controller and the new Horizontal Stand for the Wii U GamePad, which allows players to use the GamePad in a more balanced and comfortable fashion with GamePad-exclusive Tabletop games such as Tabletop Baseball.

Players from around the world in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games can take the action online and compete with each other from around the world. Four events are playable online Ski Cross, Snowboard Cross and Short Track Speed Skating, in addition to Winter Sports Champion Race, a Dream Event that combines Skiing , Ice Skating, Bobsleigh and Snowboard into a single event. Every time players win a medal in online game play, they will win points for their home country. New Mission Mode stage for Pikmin 3

Pikmin 3 will be getting a free update for players with a new Mission Mode stage. Other new Mission Mode stages are also available to download as paid DLC. More downloadable stages will be available for purchase later down the road. Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl offers two full games: The expanded story mode takes players on a journey to unravel the mystery of the Yggdrasil Tree’s origins, and the classic mode updates the original Etrian Odyssey with new dungeon layouts and challenges. Both versions feature the same gameplay conveniences, updated 3D graphics, and StreetPass functionality as in Etrian Odyssey IV. Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl will be available exclusively on the Nintendo 3DS for $39.99.
