Time to set yourself back in 1988 with Sega’s Yakuza 0 finally having a western release date for early 2017. Both a physical and digital release is set for the price of $59.99, with pre-orders now live at retail like GameStop and Best Buy.
Yakuza 0 is a prequel to the entire Yakuza franchise and is an origin story for both Kazuma Kiryu, the rising Dragon of Dojima, and Goro Majima, before he’s known as the Mad Dog of Shimano, fighting their way in electric Kamurocho, Tokyo in December 1988.
Yakuza 0 is set for January 24th, 2017 and will be released physically and digitally exclusively on PlayStation 4.
