Ubisoft today has announced the next installment of the Far Cry series with Far Cry 4, an open-world, first-person shooter that will deliver players to the breathtaking region of the Himalayas called Kyrat, where its under a regime from a self-appointed king.
“Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans’ expectations”, said Dan Hay, Executive Producer. “Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we’re eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months.”
For those who pre-order Far Cry 4 through major retailers will receive the Limited Edition version which includes 3 single-player missions featuring Hurk from Far Cry 3‘s DLC. It will also include Hurk signature gun called “The Impaler”.
Far Cry 4 will release on November 18 in North America and on November 20 in Europe for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows.
