Nintendo last year got backlash for claiming ad revenue from YouTube Let’s Play channels on showcasing their video game. Ever since then, Nintendo has been portrayed as a company that isn’t embracing Let’s Players promoting their games like companies like EA and Ubisoft.
Through this backlash, Nintendo is creating a new affiliate program to support YouTube content creators, as illustrated through Nintendo of Japan Twitter account and translated by Cheesemeiste.
