The playable demo for P.T. is being removed from the Playstation Network by Konami on April 29th.
The reason why the demo is being taken down is unknown at the moment, as is the status of the Silent Hills project following earlier reports that Hideo Kojima will be leaving Konami near the end of this year.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding the future of the Silent Hills installment due to rumors of Hideo Kojima leaving by the end of the year. Kojima was set to work alongside Hellboy’s director Guillermo del Toro and The Walking Dead actor, Norman Reedus. Both of them have made comments about the game’s cancellation.
A March 2015 restructuring of Konami’s video game business, concurrent with the removal of references to Kojima and his studio from promotional material for its games, led to speculation that Kojima and his senior staff planned to leave Konami following the completion of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain. A Konami spokesperson denied that Kojima was leaving the company, and stated that he would still be involved with Konami and the Metal Gear franchise. The fate of Silent Hills was also left unclear.

On April 25, 2015 at a San Francisco Film Society event, Guillermo del Toro reportedly told attendees that Silent Hills had been cancelled. The next day, Norman Reedus reported on Twitter that the game had been cancelled, although it is unknown whether this was based upon inside information or the reports of del Toro’s remarks. The same day, Konami announced that P.T. would be pulled from PlayStation Store on April 29, and Polygon reported that an anonymous tip by a person familiar with the game’s development had also confirmed the game’s cancellation. Konami has not yet officially confirmed the game’s cancellation.
