In exactly nine days, Lucas will be released for Super Smash Bros. 3DS and Wii U. Confirmed in a tweet by Nintendo of America, shown below, Lucas will be released to the public on June 14, at 8 a.m. PST/ 11 a.m. EST.

On the Japanese Smash Brothers twitter page, a tweet was posted that also confirms the release of the free DLC Miiverse Stage, and Splatoon Mii costume packs that came free as a pre-order bonus for Splatoon at GameStop, but can be purchased separately or together in the Smash Bros. DLC e-shop, meaning they weren’t limited to the pre-orders. Still no word on the K.K. Rider Mii costume revealed the other day, or Tournament mode fans have been very excited about, but the DLC details are always available here, on the Smash Bros. official site. If not available on the 14th, more info will almost certainly be given out on Nintendo’s E3 Direct June 16, – just 2 days after Lucas becomes available.
Are you going to buy Lucas or the costume packs? Who thinks Nintendo will finally release Mother 3 for the U.S.? Think the Splatoon costume packs or Lucas are worth buying? And who here is excited for the Miiverse stage and Tourney mode? Do you think any Smash DLC will be announced during E3 this year, and who do you think the newcomers or stages will be? Give us your feedback, and don’t forget to let us know what you think in the comments!
