Warner Bros elected to pull distribution of Arkham Knight from Steam and asked all retailers to stop selling PC copies of the game in light of many glitches and bugs within the PC version of the game. Many have taken to the forums about issues such as random crashes and freezes, audio hiccups, and frame-rate issues. Developer Rocksteady released a statement, saying:
“We’re aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of Batman: Arkham Knight. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously. We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible.”
Reviews have not been kind. To help those who have already purchased the game, Warner Bros released the best PC settings to run the game, and graphics card distributor Nvidia has offered QA and technical support to anyone looking for it. For the time being, no news on when a patch will be released fixing these errors.
Were you one of the unfortunate ones to get crashes and bugs for the PC version? Has anything Warner Bros or Nvidia done helped the situation? Let us know in the comments.
