After an announcement made earlier this month and another one made by Blizzard to announce a special event in San Francisco, we finally see a big announcement for Hearthstone.
Blizzard announced today the next expansion to Hearthstone, called The Grand Tournament, it will be a large expansion, like Goblins vs Gnomes from last year, with a total of 132 cards. It will also introduce a new mechanic and keyword called “Inspire”. An Inspire ability will activate whenever you use your hero power.Designer Eric Dodds says that the set will include many cards that will interact with your hero power.
You won’t have to wait long for the update as it will be released next month, and you can pre-purchase packs starting next week to get an exclusive cardback. The Hearthstone Grand Tournament packs will be priced identically to the current sets.
