Sony announced that it's PlayStation Now service is coming to PCs in North America and Europe.

Sony announced in the PlayStation Blog that it’s PlayStation Now service is coming to Windows PC, with it lunching in parts of Europe soon and in North America shorty after Europe.

This move will allow PC gamers to enjoy the multitude of stream titles like the Uncharted games and The Last of Us, all for the price of $19.99 a month to $44.99 for 3 months. As of this announcement, Mac users will have to wait for PS Now, as Sony is evaluating on Mac support.

Here are the recommended specs for running PS Now on Windows PC:

  • Windows 7 (SP1), 8.1 or 10
  • 3.5 GHz Intel Core i3 or 3.8 GHz AMD A10 or faster
  • 300 MB or more; 2 GB or more of RAM
  • Sound card; USB port

Along with the PC announcement, Sony also announced the DualShock 4 USB Wireless Adapter, which will allow PC and Mac users to play games officially with a DuelShock 4 controller. Sony suggests to use the adapter to play games through it’s PlayStation Now service, but you could also use it for games on Steam that have controller support. The adapter will cost $24.99 ($29.99 CAD) and will launch in early September.
