Announced at the Game Developers Conference by Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima himself, the next Metal Gear Solid game will be called Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain.

Kojima confirmed that Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes and The Phantom Pain  both titles thought to be 2 different game are both in fact Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain with Ground Zereos being a prolouge to The Phantom Pain.

The game was officially revealed with an amazing trailer running in Kojima Productions’s new FOX engine to show off its potential for realistic visuals, Kojima and his colleagues showed off some images from some items rendered in the engine.
