During EA’s first-quarter earnings call for the fiscal year 2014, EA’s Chief Operating Officer Peter Moore discussed his thoughts on the next PlayStation and Xbox consoles releasing later this year.
In the call, Moore says that reports on the Xbox One pre-orders trending ahead of the Xbox 360 while Sony’s belief that the PlayStation 4 will be its ”biggest hardware launch ever” which expects “millions of consumers to make the transition” when the new console release later this holiday season also saying that both next-gen consoles are “spectacular” and that consumers “are actually aware that new hardware is coming.”
EA plans to make the transition to next generation for it’s consumers by ”minimizing inconveniences.”
We’re just four months away from Sony and Microsoft’s upcoming next-gen consoles. Did anyone here already made the jump to the next generation and if so, which console did you pre-ordered or are going to?
