Grand Theft Auto V is reportedly the most expensive video game ever made, costing the developers, Rockstar Games, $265 million!
As sited from The Scotsman, GTA V‘s budget in marketing combine with the development of the game is a total of 265 MILLION DOLLARS!! GTA V‘s entire budget beats every single Hollywood movie with the exception of the 3rd Pirates of the Caribbean movie.
The folks at Rockstar Games have really put this much effort in the game with that much money being spent on it from it’s five-year developement and looks set to become one of the best selling games of the current 8th console generation. The pre-order numbers for GTA V has received about 2.5 million.
