Insomniac Games have announced that the latest traditional entry in the Ratchet & Clank series, Into the Nexus, will be releasing on November 12th. This title, serving as the epilogue to the PS3-era of Ratchet & Clank, will be shorter than previous entries. As such, the game will be released at a lower price — $29.99! This is ten dollars less than what we all thought would be the price.
Into The Nexus to change Ratchet forever?
According to the official post to the PlayStation Blog (found below), something will happen to Ratchet that will ‘change him forever’. There isn’t much more on this revelation, but it leaves the mind to wonder what it implies.
Pre-ordering the game via Amazon.com will net you, along with Ratchet’s Pyronex armor (pictured above), “a huge package” of R&C themed goodies for PlayStation Home, a total value of roughly $30, because everyone cares about PS Home! Along with these announcements, Insomniac has released an actually pretty funny behind-the-scenes video revealing what goes into the making of a Ratchet & Clank game.
