With Spike’s Video Game Awards having the amount of cheesy mediocre skits of Samuel L. Jackson, winners were announce that night to reclaim their prizes.
The VGA of 2012’s biggest winners were Telltale Games’ adaptation of The Walking Dead having Game of the Year, Best Adapted Game, and Best Downloadable Game awards. Telltale Games even won Studio of the Year! Other big winners were indie studio Thatgamecompany taking home Best Original Score, Best Independent Game and Best PS3 Game awards, for it’s PSN hit Journey. Borderlands 2 itself won against Halo 4 and Call Of Duty: Black Ops 2 for Best Shooter and Best Multiplayer awards and Half Life 2 winning Game of the Decade award from excellent games like Mass Effect 2 and The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker.
