A new version of Persona 4 Arena, titled Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold, is currently in development for release in Japanese arcades and the Sony PlayStation 3.
In addition to rebalancing the existing cast, Persona 4: The Ultimax Ultra Suplex Hold adds Yukari Takeba and Junpei Iori of Persona 3 as new playable characters, as well as an original character named Sho Minazuki.
Certain characters have received new moves and abilities, and the new S-Hold System allows characters to use charged versions of their attacks. Shadow versions of all characters except for Elizabeth and Shadow Labrys have also been added, which possess unique skills to differentiate them from their regular counterparts. The antagonist of Persona 4, Tohru Adachi, will appear in the game, but it is unknown if he will be playable. We will update you on this as details become available.
As we previously mentioned, not only will the game released on arcade but also the PlayStation 3 in 2014.
