Former Wii U exclusive, ZombiU, now known as Zombi is to be released next month on Playstation 4, Xbox One and PC. Zombi is a first person survival horror game with an interesting respawn system and where you are trapped in the middle of a zombie apocalypse in London.
Due to the fact that it no longer is a Wii U exclusive, it drops the U from it’s name and is now to be known as Zombi, the core gameplay will remain the same except for the gamepad features that gamers praised back in 2012, the graphics will be improved which is to be expected, new melee weapons have been added, the shovel and nail bat, and of course the FOV has been tweaked and can be modified up to a certain point. The single system multiplayer is missing as the team has focused on the solo aspect of the game:
We knew from the beginning that maintaining the tension and feel of the original was one of the main challenges, as the way ZombiU was presented on Wii U cannot be reproduced,” says Hélène Henry, Zombi’s producer. While the minimap (which formerly required players to glance down at the Wii U gamepad) has been moved onto the main screen, “We maintain a minimal HUD as much as possible,” Henry says. “It disappears when not required, giving the game a very lonely feeling. If you have surround sound, the awesome sound mix from the original still stands and greatly helps immersion. As much as possible, we’ve tried to keep those key elements
