2K Games has officially announced that the next installment in the Mafia series titled Mafia 3 will be revealed next week in Gamescom with an announcement trailer.

With former developer 2K Czech now defunct, as they closed down in early 2014, Mafia III will be developed by Hanger 13, a subsidiary of 2K Games.
