Last Friday, the Palutena amiibo was released exclusively through Amazon.com at a bit after 5 P.M. EST, after the sites servers crashed. Luckily, she was up for almost an hour and a half, giving just about everyone a chance to snag her, despite shipping errors and slightly damaged boxes people have been receiving. Today marks the release of the third and final Kid Icarus character amiibo release in the Smash Bros. Collection.
Unlike Palutena and many other amiibo, Dark Pit was available in-store only, meaning you had to have camped out or gotten to the store right after opening, depending on where you live and how many amiibo your store got stocked with, which ranged from around 15-55 Dark Pit amiibo. Getting two was no easy feat this time, with strict rules from corporate imposing one per person. Fortunately, we all have some time to cool down before the final wave of Smash Bros. amiibo releases sometime September/
