Despite pervious games in the Dead or Alive Xtreme sub-series releasing in both the east and west in the past, Koei Tecmo has announced it has no plans to release Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 here in the west in fear of talks of representation towards women in games.
In a now deleted post, a fan asked the official Dead or Alive Facebook page if the game was coming to North America and Europe. “We do not bring DOAX3 to the west and won’t have any plan change in the future. Thank you for asking.” said the community manager of the page. The manager further elaborate to fans that it was a decision thought within the company to not have a western release in fear of talks of representation towards females in video games. “Do you know how many issues happening in video game industry with regard to how to treat female in video game industry? We do not not want to talk those things here. But certainly we have gone through in the last year or two to come to our decision. Thank you.”
So now fans of Dead or Alive’s only option is to import the game on PlayStation 4 in PlayAsia’s website, through an English version.
#DOAX3 will not be coming to the US due to #SJW nonsense. However, we will have the English Asia version available: https://t.co/u03t7NC3RU

Dead or Alive Xtreme 3 is yet another Japanese game fall victim in the fight for representation towards women in games here in the west. Another pray in Social Justice Warrior’s tangled web of turning game publishers into the thought police of censoring their games before people like them get offended when they hit store shelves. Let hope this trend for Japanese games doesn’t continue for western fans in the future.
