According to a report from Digitimes, Nintendo expects to achieve 10-12 million units on their next gen NX system to ship next year. The console is scheduled to enter mass production at the end of the first quarter of 2016. The console will be manufacture by Foxconn Electronics, a manufacturing company responsible for the current gen system like the Wii U, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and more.
“The new console is estimated to enter mass shipments in the second quarter. In addition to Foxconn, suppliers such as Foxconn Technology, Macronix, Pixart Imaging, Coxon Precise Industrial, Nishoku Technology, Delta Technology, Lingsen Precision Industries and Jentech will also supply components for the device.”
