A few days ago the once great THQ with several years of financial struggles and an increasing amount of debt, has since been filed into Chapter 11 bankruptcy since December of last year with it’s studios and IPs now being sold into new homes with the likes of Crytek owning the Homefront series for $544,218.
Relic Entertainment, Makers of Company of Heroes and the Warhammer 40,000 video games was brought out from SEGA, home of Sonic the Hedgehog for $26.6 million dollars.
Ubisoft, home of the Assassin’s Creed and Far cry series brought out THQ Montreal and the South Park license, that includes the upcoming South Park: The Stick of Truth for $253,265,306.
The fate of Volition, Inc. and the Saints Row series was brought out along with the Metro series for $28,190,476 by Koch Media’s video game label Deep Sliver, makers of Dead Island.
