According to EA, Battlefield 4 will be powered by DICE’s proprietary Frostbite 3 engine. Battlefield 4 will see a variety of multiplayer elements incorporated into the single-player campaign such as huge environments, access to a variety of vehicles and the ability to direct squad mates in battle. The single-player mode will also track players’ progress, adding a layer of social competition to the game’s campaign like achievements and challenges.

EA debuted a 17-minute gameplay demo called ”Fishing in Baku”, which begins with the player opening his eyes to discover that he’s trapped in a sinking car with three squad mates. I must say, the 17 minute gameplay video is packed with “Call of Duty” moments. If the Battlefield 4 campaign lives up to it’s promises, then the Modern Warfare series will be finish as its main feature, at least in my opinion, it the single player campaigns. Anyway, this game looks amazing!
