*UPDATE* Defense Grid: The Awakening will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold members on July 1st through July 15th.
Under the “Games with Gold” deal for Xbox Live, Xbox Live Gold members according to Xbox.com will be able to download two free games each month from July until the launch of the Xbox One this November, according to Xbox Wire. The program kicked off on June 10 with Fable 3. Next month in July will offer Assassin’s Creed 2 and Halo 3.
Only one free game will be available at a time: The first will be up for free from the beginning of the month through the 15th, and the second will be up from the 16th through the end of the month.
