Since 6 years after the launch of the Wii, Nintendo’s northern subsidiary in Canada have announced a new redesign on the console that innovated motion controls.
Smaller than the original and reconfigured models, the Wii Mini has lovely red casing and rough, matte finish with a Wii logo in the middle of the console. Judging from pictures of the Wii Mini, it appears to be a top-loading console similar to Sega’s Dreamcast and Nintendo’s Gamecube with how there’s only two buttons on the system, one as the power button while the other is to open the tray to put your games.
Speaking of games, the Wii Mini unlike the original Wii does not support WiFi and compatibility to GameCube games, leaving only Wii games to be played. You will be able to buy the redesign Wii starting December 7 only if you live in Canada for only $100 c dollars.
Would you buy this new redesigned version of the Wii or will you buy the Wii U?
