As a result, SOCOM fans formed one of the most passionate communities for a console online game. This was exponentially expanded with the follow-up title SOCOM II: US Navy Seals on November 4th 2003.
Some of the developers who were fundamentally responsible for SOCOM and SOCOM II’s success, turn their sights towards the future. Instead of supporting the fans who desire a current generation (or next gen) release of SOCOM or SOCOM II, these talented minds have taken on a great ambition. As a result, we have a kickstarter for H-Hour: World’s Elite! A spiritual successor project to quench the thirst that all SOCOM and SOCOM II fans have had for a long time.
H-Hour has gone even further and is being backed by people who have extensive military knowledge. Being developed by Special Operations Forces Studios, there seems to be no group hungrier to bring our vintage feeling back to life while opening new doors for the future. The project is being developed for a PC and PS4 release, so far. H-Hour’s kickstarter only has 15 days left to reach a goal of $200,000. The project is something that as a community established in respect for fan passion, Staggerd.com believes in! With the option to even get a free digital copy reward for donating a certain minimal price, there is nothing but opportunity to thrive!
