The above tweet was posted by Miley Cyrus on Saturday, December 14th. Although Twitter has no rules against uncensored nudity, the 21-year-old actress/singer chose to censor the photo anyways, probably to avoid creepy replies (as if she doesn’t get any as it is). She first posted a photo about the “free The Nipple” movie on December 11th, and has since come out to say that she’s grown tired of going to a beach on a hot day and not being able to take her bikini top off while every man in sight has no shirt on what so ever. Children across the country see millions of people die on TV before they turn 18, and not one female nipple (we’re being a bit dramatic to make a point here).

Free The Nipple is an upcoming movie that poses the question, “Which is more obscene, violence or a nipple?” The movie aims to expose the double standard that men can go shirtless in public while women can’t. In a mind-numbing ironic twist, the movie is getting a 17+ rating by the MPAA, forcing the creator of the project, Lina Esco, to resort to fund raising website, FundAnything, to obtain the funds to make and release it without needless censorship or important information blocked.

Can someone verify the claim about children not seeing female nipples before they turn 18? In our day, it wasn’t hard to get a hold of a Playboy magazine, and online porn is still easily accessed, isn’t it?
